There is a good deal of shopping centres in Malaga and along the Costa del Sol. Most of them have an attractive offer not only of shops, but also of leisure and restaurants.
Something to consider if you are travelling with your family to the Costa del Sol.

Most of them are covered and all have air conditioning. Therefore, they are also a good alternative to make plans during the hot summer in Malaga or on a rainy day. Some of them also have movie theatres.

Last but not least, as the Costa del Sol is a popular tourist area, these shopping centres are also open on some Sundays and public holidays. Find out which ones, below.

La Rosaleda

This shopping centre is located in the north of Malaga. It has 12 cinemas, restaurants and cafés, more than 120 shops, different services, workshops and children’s entertainment, and a large Carrefour hypermarket.

Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 10 pm and public holidays and Sundays from 10 am to 10 pm.
Catering and leisure
Monday to Saturday from 9 am until the last cinema session. Sundays from 11 am until the last cinema session. Holidays and Sundays from 9:45 am to midnight.

Shopping centre located right in the centre of Malaga. It has a great offer for all tastes and budgets and has a wide range of events for children and young people.

On 3 floors you will find women’s and children’s fashion, cosmetics, beauty salons and a gastronomic offer for all tastes. There is also a gym.

Shopping centre located in the centre of Malaga, just a few metres from the María Zambrano train station. With a wide range of shops and a FNAC (Book shop).

Large commercial park next to the national road MA-21 dedicated to the home with mattress shops, furniture shops, decoration shops etc. and an IKEA.

On the other side of the railway tracks is the largest open air shopping centre in Malaga, Plaza Mayor.

Plaza Mayor

Probably the most charming shopping centre in Malaga. Designed in the style of an Andalusian village, this is an open-air shopping centre, with detailed decoration for strolling and shopping.

Pier One

Pier One (Muelle Uno) is a beautiful open-air shopping centre in the port of Malaga. It is an urban, open-plan place where you can combine shopping with a stroll and a drink. There are also often street markets and live performances.

Shopping centres on the Costa del Sol

As the Costa del Sol is an area of high tourist occupation, you can find in the larger towns very well stocked shopping centres with international brands.

Puerto Marina Shopping

This shopping centre is located in this beautiful port, which has won several awards for its design.

It has nightclubs, bars, restaurants and cafes, fashion and accessories, food, home and decoration.

Miramar

This shopping centre located next to the river park in Fuengirola has fashion, accessories and home shops, as well as 12 cinemas, bars and a children’s club. There are always plenty of family events.

La Cañada

Attractive indoor shopping centre with modern architecture. It has top brand shops, fashion and accessories, various restaurants, a FNAC shop, Apple Store, home and decoration, a supermarket and 8 cinemas.

It is located next to the A-7 on the outskirts of Marbella.
