Casares is an inland village situated between Estepona and Manilva. It has 2 kms of coast divided into 3 rocky beaches with dark sand: La Sal, Piedra Paloma and Playa Ancha.
Ancha beach is situated in the most western extreme of Casares next to Manilva, in the Marina de Casares urbanisation area. It has easy access for the disabled, public showers and taps for the feet, rubbish bins, red cross and a seafront promenade.
This beach is part of the Playa Ancha beach, surrounded by vegetation, dark sand and protected from the wind.
It's situated in the other extreme of Casares and has several beach bars.
