River Adra
This river is born in the province of Granada, specifically in Sierra Nevada, passing through the province of Almeria along the Sierra de Gador and flows into the Mediterranean.

Rio Andarax
With birth in the eastern Sierra Nevada, this river flows through the valley that bears its name. It passes through the Tabernas Desert and the towns of Rioja, Pendant, Viator and Benahadux and has its river mouth outside of Almeria.
This river was navigable in antiquity although currently it has started to disappear.
