After walking for about four and a half kilometres, passing by the El Peral houses, we arrive at the San Martín country house. At this point, we leave the track to make our way upwards through a cliff in a steep valley, now without a track. This part of the journey offers a bit of a challenge, but the breathtaking views make it well worth the effort.
From this point onwards, we arrive at the Cortijada el Relleno, a country estate surrounded by chestnut, almond and plum trees. The estate is home to many orchards and a spring that flows all year round, offering a serene spot to rest and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
The return journey can be made along the same track leading back to Abrucena, allowing for a leisurely walk back while taking in the sights and sounds of the Sierra Nevada.
