Hi, I have used your service for over 15 years and I’m usually pleased with it. I have found this year it has not been as good, for example, you no longer take booking deatails when waiting for the bus to collect the car, this has caused problems with getting on because people jump the line. I also was dropped at arrivals when I returned my car on the 11/11 not departures which meant carrying several cases up the escalator my wife and I struggled with this and was dangerous. I hope things will get back to how they where when I return in January

I have used malagacar on multiple occasions and the service has been outstanding. However my recent experience with car company has been very poor. The condition of the car was very bad, bad smells, stains on multiple locations, seats, cup holders, front dash. The car was obviously not cleaned before been reassigned. Photos available if required. Very disappointed ☹️.

Sharply priced, nice staff who brought the Seat Ibiza, nothing wrong with it, car was not really clean, greasy windows and mirrors, but good. After driving 200m, the car made a noise at a certain number of revs. Think something from manifold or heat shield. Not pleasant to hear, but you get used to. Otherwise, the Seat drove fine... Got a message refilling oil a few days later. In consultation with office bought oil 1 ltr and topped it up before the engine block goes haywire. This amount €13.30 advanced...no problem. Here's the thing; spent weeks trying to get this amount (less than €14) back. No, it would be refunded to the credit card... Staff from whom I received the mail can't do anything about it, but I'm done with it. If it's that much trouble then keep it, thanks for the loan and buy something nice for it, from that tip.

I have been a customer of malagacar for about 10 years. I like the company for its prices and the quality of the staff. I have rented several cars these last years, at a rate of 4,5 days every month. Without any problem. Except, two cases, with the same person. The last one this morning, November 9, 2024. I have to make this complaint, because of these two cases. Three years ago, arriving in Malaga at 12 o'clock at night, I got on the bus that takes us to the office. The sound of the music was so loud that I would not have been able to talk to my neighbour. I thought the driver was going to turn it down before the bus started. He did nothing. The other 3 passengers, who were tourists, did not speak Spanish and I decided to ask the driver, in Spanish, if he could turn the music down. He looked at me in the rear-view mirror with murderous eyes and did nothing. I asked him again if he could turn down the music. But nothing. He didn't say anything. I was sitting behind him and I decided to extend my legs towards the plastic panel, so he could see my feet. Leaving my footprints on the plastic. I apologize for this gesture but it was the only one possible at that moment. He didn't like it and only then he spoke to me (yes, yes, he spoke to me) and asked me to remove my feet. I said no if he didn´t lower the sound. We continued the short trip, him with the view of my wonderful shoes. Me, with his music so loud. Taking my car, I learned that he was responsible for the office. I have crossed him several times without any problems and no business contact with him.
Today, I came to pick up my car. I was the next to be served with a lady behind me. Suddenly, she passes me without any explanation or apology. Surprised, I don't say anything as I am the next customer. But after 1 minute, I decide to tell the lady that next time, she should be kind enough to pass behind me. I realise that she was being served by my musician friend of three years ago. This gentleman verbally assaulted me, saying ‘Yes, this customer is coming from far away, to get a new car because hers has been in an accident. And this window is reserved for this type of case’ (For the record, I have already seen this window used for normal car rentals, which is why I said what I did). Getting up from his chair and coming towards me, ...... I replied. ‘OK, but this lady could have told me something to understand the situation when she passed me. And you have to talk to me in a different way’. The same speech, with a smile, would have been much better to understand the situation. But your employee, boss, doesn't know how to do it. Twice already, I have a problem with this gentleman. The reception manager. Very bad attitude and aggressive language. I don't think he is the right person to serve the customers. It would be better if he worked far away from the reception.

Because Malagacar.com has such competitive prices we were able to book an automatic and still save money compared to other companies. Thanks to the full coverage of literally everything we had a worry free trip. Nothing happened, but its always nice to know that whatever could happen (maybe with no fault of your own) you will be insured and wont have to pay a dime. We got a Mazda 2 fully hybrid which was just amazing because we often drive up and down steep roads in Fuengirola and sometimes you have to stop and its just a hassle with a manual, but with other companies the cheapest automatic is often like 500€+ for a week. We stayed 8 days and paid like 250€ or something for the rental which I think is pretty competitive given how good the insurance is. Car had 20.000 km, looked brand new and everything was really smooth. Collection and Drop off was really fast and went super smooth. On my prior vacation our experience with the rental was so bad that we were hesitant to even fly to Malaga for a while, but with Malagacar.com it was now a great experience and we will only use them from now on, especially given their very competitive prices (which are likely thanks to not being located within the airport itself).
