Malaga airport bus stop, where you can take a bus every 30 minutes, is just outside the Malaga airport arrivals, hall.
You can choose between 2 routes: Bus from Malaga airport to Malaga centre and Bus from Malaga airport to Marbella (and both inverse routes).
Malaga airport provides also a free bus connecting the different terminals. You can see the green courtesy bus in the picture on the right.
On the other hand, sometimes it's not a good idea to take a public bus. The buses are overloaded very often, you can't sit down and you will surely be trod on by other passengers.
There are other low cost services available, you can book a private bus from Malaga airport for up to 54 passengers. It's a great deal, especially when you use to travel in group, because prices are really good, there is a lot of luggage space in the buses and you travel directly to your destination, without any stops or queues, saving a lot of time.
On the other hand, you can always rely on car hire services because you can choose when to collect your car and forget about timetables.
