Mijas boasts a privileged situation in the south of Spain, with average temperatures of 19ºC that than even reach up to 40º in August and with 260 sunny days a year. Its proximity to the sea acts as a conditioner for a mild temperature without excessive heat in summer and very few ice-cold days in winter.
The vegetation in Mijas is made up mainly of pine trees and it was reforested in the mid 20th century, and as we continue entering the mountain rage, as well as finding a larger diversity of both fauna and flora, we can experience temperature decreases of up to 10º, possibly even with small snowfalls on the highest peaks.
