Strolling around Nerja you will discover the many virtues of the municipality. Spots like its beaches, the Nerja caves or the viewpoint of Balcon de Europa are some of the emblematic places you should not miss in your visit.

Nerja cave
Located next to the pretty village of Maro, of which we highlight its natural beaches, is situated the famous Cave of Nerja, a historic-artistic monument declared of Cultural interest and Archaeological site. In this cave have been found paintings of seals which could be the first known work of rock art of mankind with around about 42,000 years age.
Balcon de Europa
A viewpoint which seems to be the end of Europe as its name says.
Acueducto del Aguila
Built in the nineteenth century it was used to bring water to a sugar factory in Maro.
Frigiliana
Very close to the town centre the village has beautiful views and a rural atmosphere. It is a recommended place where to stay if we visit the area and seek a quiet place.
