While we enjoy our holidays in Mijas, we can also discover its main attractions during the summer nights.
In Mijas we can enjoy its exquisite gastronomy by touring around the typical bars in Mijas from 8 o'clock in the evening till midnight every Tuesday and Thursday during the months of July and August for only 1,50€, with the drink included, but only if we are in possession of the "Tapaporte".
To pay less than the normal prices we can request a "tapaporte" in associated establishments such as some hotels in Mijas or directly in the tourist office, and if we tour all the establishments on the document and get each one of them to stamp on it, we’ll enter a raffle.
If you like music, you can enjoy live events with all type of shows for the whole family on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Virgen de la Peña square.
Different groups offer us dances and animation with instructors so that we can enjoy Latin rhythms during the months of July and August.
The first thing we must bare in mind is that the places where we can have a drink that are near the urbanisations have restricted opening hours. In these urbanisations there are places like the Miraflores Golf Social Club, where we can go for a drink, a meal, tapas or listen to live music.
Many tourists that look for a lively atmosphere at night, go to Fuengirola due to its wide variety of pubs and discos, as this municipality is very near.
