Adra, a municipality of Phoenician origin, was the last place conquered by the Christians in Al-Andalus when Boabdil´s armies were defeated in 1492. It is located in the western coast of Almeria bordering with Granada and where we can enjoy natural and cultural routes, just 50 kilometres from the capital.
According to legend, the last Moorish king named Boabdil, left Al-Andalus from the beach of San Nicolas. These coasts have also witnessed merchants Tartesos, Phoenicians, Greeks and Romans who have been expanding along the Mediterranean.
