Located between the Natural Parks of Grazalema and Los Alcornocales is situated Ubrique, a city of Roman origin whose legacy is also a strong Arabic cultural and architectural component with remains of the fortress of Cardela or Fatima Castle from the XIII century.
A walk through the streets of Ubrique shows us medieval streets of a town that has traditionally dedicated to leather tanning, as evidenced by different places we can visit in Ubrique:
Another activity we recommend is to visit the ancient Roman road, with a distance of just over 3 km, during which you can enjoy the natural surroundings. It also forms part of a long distance footpath through the Natural Park of Sierra de Grazalema.
