The Benalmadena Butterfly Park is a magical place where visitors immerse themselves in the habitat of butterflies, sharing the space with these fascinating insects and observing them up close in their natural environment.
Inaugurated in 2011, the Butterfly Park is the largest in Europe, covering around 900 square metres. It is located in an impressive Thai-style building, decorated with elements brought exclusively from Thailand, giving it an exotic and unique atmosphere.
The facility maintains stable climatic conditions to recreate a tropical garden, with a relative humidity of 80% and an average temperature between 24 and 29°C. This environment is ideal for housing up to 2000 exotic butterfly species, typically from tropical regions around the world. Throughout the year, you can discover around 150 different species.
In the Butterfly Park, visitors can observe the chrysalides and the birth of butterflies in a carefully designed area with abundant tropical plants, adapted to the needs of various butterfly species. This wonderful garden also houses other animals that visitors can discover during their walk, making it a recommended activity for the whole family.
