Sea life in Benalmadena is an aquarium situated at the entrance of Puerto Marina (Benalmadena's port), right opposite Torre Bermeja, an old watchtower, and next to the Marina Shopping mall. In this great aquarium you'll find a wide variety of sea species brought in from all over the world, like the Mediterranean, Pacific, Indian, Atlantic, and other places like the Amazon river and the Red sea.
The Benalmadena Sea life aquarium opened in 1995 and is made up of 25 aquariums divided into 9 different rooms. The whole building, according to their official website, is wheelchair accessible, which is why it has a capacity for the disabled.
In winter it opens from 10 o'clock in the morning till 6 o'clock in the evening.
In summer it opens from 10 o'clock in the morning till 12 o'clock at night.

To get there by car you must take the Benalmadena Costa turnoff from the motorway and follow the directions down towards Puerto. The entrance to the port is opposite the Solymar square. The bus line 110 stops in Benalmadena Costa.
During Halloween, Sea Life Benalmádena becomes "a passage of terror" and schedules various activities. Children in costume can enter for free if accompanied by an adult who pays for a standard ticket at the box office. There are interactive activities prepared exclusively to live a terrifyingly fun experience at Sea Life such as terrifying games and workshops on scars, face painting and even creating your own ‘Slime’.
