Guadalmina Golf Club is situated in the heart of the Costa del Sol, within the exclusive development Guadalmina in San Pedro de Alcantara, Marbella, at the beachfront, ten minutes from Marbella and Estepona and five minutes from Puerto Banus. Guadalmina Golf Club was designed by Javier Arana and Folco Nardi. The original field was opened in 1959. In 2008, King Juan Carlos awarded the title of Real Club de Golf Guadalmina.
Guadalmina has two golf courses with 18 holes and a 9 hole par 3. Is a field in which the holes are named according to their appearance. Its climate, its landscape and the area make this club a site without equal.In general Guadalmina Golf can be described as a golf course with reasonably wide undulated fairways sweeping through recently developed urbanization's and villas.
Guadalmina Sur opened in 1959 and is after Malaga Parador del Golf the oldest course at the Costa del Sol. The wide fairways extend to the very beach.
Guadalmina Norte opened in 1975 has more undulated fairways and more water hazards and trees, nevertheless is probably the easier of the two courses.
The Hotel Guadalmina Spa & Golf Resort is a 4-star hotel situated in the same golf course, at the beach front. Hotel guests can enjoy special rates for green fees.

How to get there: From Malaga airport, take the national road N-340 towards Cadiz and then the highway A-7. Exit in San Pedro de Alcantara, going back on the N-340. After passing through San Pedro pass through the arch of Marbella. Take the exit right after the arch, at km 170. Once off the road, follow the signs to the golf course. You can also take the N-340 for the whole journey although there is much more traffic and it takes longer.
