The Rio Real Golf Club is located just 3 km from the centre of Marbella on the Costa del Sol. This 18 hole par 72, designed by Javier Arana and opened in 1965 is a perfect course for golfers of all levels.
Here lies also the Rio Real Golf Hotel Marbella and Wellness Resort, a boutique hotel with 29 luxurious rooms. The golf course also has a golf academy and a wellness center.
Rio Real is one of the most spectacular courses in the area. The field name honors the river that runs through a large number of holes. The course is basically flat with many trees and fantastic views of the Sierra Blanca and the Mediterranean Sea.

How to get there: From Malaga airport take the motorway A-7 / AP-7 towards Algeciras / Marbella. After Fuengirola take the bifurcation / exit 200 to Calahonda, following the A-7. Follow the A-7 / N-340 coastal road in the direction of Marbella for about 12 km. Before arriving in Marbella, pass by Los Monteros, the Hospital Costa del Sol and Altos de Marbella. After the sign "Marbella 4 km" take the next exit on the right. You can see the golf course from the highway.
