La Duquesa Golf is located in Manilva, the westernmost municipality in the province of Malaga.
This 18-hole par 72 golf course founded in 1986 and designed by Robert Trent Jones is a demanding course with abundant vegetation, difficult rough and large greenside bunker which requires strict concentration and straight drives.
La Duquesa Golf has great views of the Mediterranean and on clear days you can see North Africa and Gibraltar. It's probably one of the most complete clubs on the coast and offers the visitor tennis, swimming, squash, gym etc.
It's a highly entertaining golf course with very fast greens and as well it is one of the most difficult golf courses of the Costa del Sol. Facilities include Driving Range, Pitch & Putt, Putting Green, Restaurant, Gymnasium, Turkish Bath, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Conference Room, Indoor Pool, Tennis Courts and Pro-Shop.
On the golf course is located the Hotel Suites Duquesa Golf, a 5-star resort with Thalasso Spa and 94 suites, decorated with exquisite refinement, marble and stucco, each with private balcony or terrace overlooking the sea and the Golf course La Duquesa.

How to get there: To get to La Duquesa from Malaga, follow the AP-7 motorway (toll road) to Algeciras and take the exit 153, at the height of Estepona. Continue to Algeciras, on the motorway A-7 to Manilva and take the exit at km 143 (Clearly signposted). The golf course is situated next to the La Duquesa yacht harbor. You can as well take from Malaga the highway A-7 (toll free) or the coastal national road N-340.
